It could never happen to me, right?
CPAP Travel Hire is the brainchild created out of a need for CPAP users to have peace of mind whilst travelling.
The Founder of CPAP Travel Hire, Kevin Murdock, has first-hand experience of travelling without using his CPAP machine and how it can go horribly wrong.
He has been a CPAP user for over 15 years but in 2014 on a short domestic flight from Brisbane to Cairns for a week-end getaway, he had a stroke on the plane whilst having a quick snooze. Who would have thought that taking a short sleep on a brief flight would have such significant and life-changing impact on him.
The normal response of 'it could never happen to me' is unfortuantly what a lot of people believe.
CPAP Travel Hire now fills the gap by providing FAA approved, automatic, portable, battery operated and affordable CPAP machines for all types of travel; air, land and sea.
CPAP Travel Hire's journey began with lived experience whilst travelling and quickly became aware of the need for the sale of affordable CPAP machines for both travel and home use. Our CPAP home use machines are designed to meet the market for affordability, durability and quality.
We understand the need for clinical sleep studies but we also understand that not everyone wants to particpate in such an invasive and costly process that can literally put a hold on your career and livelihood. Our at home 'sleep' device can assist you in understanding more about your sleep patterns and ongong need for OSA therapy - contact us today for more information - 0410838236.

The risks are real, are you prepared to roll the dice?
People with obstructive sleep apena (OSA) on commercial airline flights may have a greater risk of cardiac stress than healthy people, according to new reasearch.
'It is normal for the rate of breathing to increase when air pressure falls. We predicted that patients with OSA would have a much sharper fall in oxygen levels because they might not increase their breathing as much,' said Leigh Seccombe, M.Sc., senior scientist in the Department of Thoracic Medicine at Concord Repatriation General Hospital in Sydney, Australia.
But what was different was the physiological stress and demand for oxygen was increased in people with OSA. “In short, the work they do to run the core range of body functions (heart, lungs, brain) is much greater under cabin conditions," said Seccombe.
